Shirley Valentine Show Update

Thank you to all the Christchurch Key Club members who
attended the Shirley Valentine Show at the Isaac Theatre Royal.

It was an amazing 'One Woman Show' which helped raise $2000
for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation. Some of us were
even lucky enough (or not) to have their photos feature in the
Sunday Star Times 'Out and About' section. Great effort.

Ingredients:

250 grams butter
3 tablespoons sweetened
condensed milk
¾ cup white sugar
1½ cups plain flour
1½ cups rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
200 grams dark chocolate,
roughly chopped

Preheat oven to 180°C. Beat the butter, condensed milk & sugar together until light and creamy. Add flour, oats, baking powder and chocolate chunks. Flatten spoonfuls onto a well greased oven tray and cook for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from tray and cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container.
